⬤ ● biography !!

A fiery lupin who's life has been dedicated to the healing arts. Hailing from the reclusive Hayashi clan, known for their devout worship of Amaterasu, Yu has been their prized healer from a young age. His talents for healing manifested quite young, and as a child he could often be seen healing his own cuts and scrapes. While he didn't try to keep this gift for healing a secret, he also didn't go out of his way to tell anyone about it either fearing his father's judgement and ire.All too soon however the elder members of the clan took notice of him, and in turn his father's stern gaze fell upon him. Up until this point he had largely been considered a failure by his father. A lupin with little to no interest in combat was not a worthy heir.it was determined that his younger brother Jiro would take his place as heir, while Yu was forced into the role of the clan's primary healer. despite enjoying helping others and having a natural gift for healing, Yu resented his position within the clan. He was still a child and yet his whole life was being mapped out for him without any consideration towards how he felt about it.His only escape was when he was able to sneak away to visit his childhood friend who was from another equally reclusive clan. Both young lupin had strict fathers, ones that would not approve of their association with each other. Still, despite that they managed to form a strong bond with each other.Later into his adult years Yu felt smothered by duty, by the expectations placed upon him by his father. one night he decided to gather his courage and what supplies he could and break away from his clan once and for all.
